Lagoon Day

Hello again, I hope you all had a great weekend.  I feel like our weekends could use an extra day for our family.  It always seems to go by so fast and then the next thing I know, it's Monday and I'm back to a normal routine.

Trevon's work had a family Lagoon day. For those of you who live outside of Utah, Lagoon is our amusement park. I used to go there a couple times a year growing up, but I think that stopped in jr high.  Now it's just once in a while.  So it was really fun to go.  We weren't sure about bringing the girls at first but I'm glad we decided to bring them. They had a blast (V stayed with my parents for the day).

Since we had these two cuties, we didn't really get to ride any adult rides this time.  It was pretty crowded because there were several company parties and it was also open to the public on a Saturday. So most lines were pretty long. The thing is, though, they have gotten some good kid rides since I was there last.  So we got as many in as we could.

The only ride that J could ride and M couldn't, was The Bat.  It's considered an adult ride but J is tall enough to ride with an adult. So I took her on that while Trevon took M on the kid roller coaster again (we went on it about 4 times and it was good enough that we didn't get too sick of it).

Trevon's work provided dinner and a raffle that we finished our day off with.  The girls ate better than they ever have and they even got an ice cream treat afterwards.  Trevon actually won something in the drawing (we aren't very lucky people when it comes to this stuff) We will be going on a date night with the gift certificate we won. (We were hoping for the two round trip tickets anywhere in the U.S. but we will take what we can get.)

We got home and our little V wasn't feeling very well so we all went to bed as soon as we got home. No run for the weekend walking around the park with these kids was called my workout for the weekend. The did amazing and there was really no complaining about being tired, or even being hot (it was over 100 degrees on Saturday).

What were your weekend highlights?

Do you like rollercoasters?
