Trip to the Dentist and a Scavenger Hunt

It's been a busy couple of days.  We started out with a random puke from J. While this isn't super abnormal (J has always been a puker), it was random enough that I thought maybe she got the stomach bug M had gotten a couple of weeks ago. So we spent most of the morning like this, but, turns out she wasn't really sick, thank goodness!

I had a dentist appointment and J was feeling better, so we loaded up and went. It was badly needed for me. My dad might be the dentist but that doesn't mean my teeth are always perfect. It's a huge blessing that I have such a great dad and dentist because I have to get my teeth cleaned every 4 months instead of 6, because my plaque builds up really bad even though I take good care of my teeth. Anyway, anytime I get a cleaning, the girls get a check up too.

Since they got new toothbrushes, M has been a little obsessed with brushing her teeth. I keep finding her carrying her toothbrush around whether she's using it or not. I may have to hide it somewhere until she actually does need to brush her teeth.

We spent the evening riding bikes and visiting with Grandma Ann. We were too busy to take any pictures. Sometimes that's the way it's supposed to be.

We also decided to go on a scavenger hunt. My grandma used to send me on scavenger hunts all of the time, and I remember loving it. So when we got this fun list emailed to us from Little Passports, and decided today was the day we would give it a try.

We stayed in our little community and looked for as many things on the list as we could. We found about half of the items on the list. They weren't as excited about it as I thought they would be, but that's probably because they were more excited about riding their bikes, which is totally fine with me! They are getting really good at the balancing thing already.

We made sure to take some water with us because it is HOT! Don't forget that for the next 24 hours you can get %15 off your first order of Hint Water by clicking HERE and entering AFF15 for the promo code.

Watermelon for me (it's my current favorite.) and blackberry for the girls to share.

What fun things did you do in the summer time, growing up?

Anyone a random puker?
